Is it different with race tires? I know in stock cars like NASCAR, they increase tire pressure to get less traction on that particular tire. So increasing pressure in the rear would cause more oversteer, they say "loosen up the car". More tire pressure up front "tightens up the car" or gives it more understeer where it will push. Can someone explain the difference between what they do and what you are talking about. I am not doubting it but I just want to understand. Mike Kojima with SCC wrote and article about this on a SE-R site and he explains it like you do
