The break-in for the e46 3-series (for my 2000 328i) was 2000 miles (i think), stay under 100 mph and stay under 5000 RPM (i think).

It's been a while, i don't remember 100%.

Not a bad try at a topic, but like most of the rest of our topics, this will be "wait and see" for me.
