Has anyone officially ordered an E46 M3 with their color and options in the US and what is the delivery date? I have had a deposit of $1000 for 1 year with my dealer in NJ and have not put in an "official" order yet.

Talked to my dealer this week, I have been on list for almost 2 years in August, no orders as yet but in Jan. BMW will produce certain cars to dealer specs and then release those to whoever is No. 1 and if that person declines, move down the list. Then orders on specific units will be taken, Not what I was expecting. This sounds like a way to load up the car on options . Who knows ?
