from that angle the angle of the headlight upper curve is very reminiscent of a R34 Skyline GTR

This one shows the updated hood that has the widened lines like the E46 M3.The rest you should be able to pick out after looking and comparing to the current models. When do you think the E46 M3 will get the updated 5-series/2002 3-series headlights? 2002? or 2003? If they wait until 2003 then the M3 will almost seem like an outdated look.Frankly it won't matter to me because I consider the M3 to be in a class by itself.
