Since the M3 is OBDII like the M5, there really isn't a "chip" to speak of, but rather a flash-reprogram required, so if you want to have it done while you are there either
a. hope the shark injector comes out with a E46 version before you get your car (doubtfull)
b. buy a whole new ECU, have Dinan reprogram it, get to germany and switch ECU's....tough, and has bunches of legal issues (kinda)
c. pick up the car in germany, global next-day fedex the ECU to dinan, call them ahead of time, wait the few days, have them fedex it back and reinstall (your best bet, but it means spending a week in germany with your car sitting there brainless

As for 182 in a C5, considering at those speeds speedo error can easily be +/-5mph or more, and the intake and chip (chip probably gives you a slight redline increase) 175 seems reasonable (like I said before, the increase trq and hp of the Z06 doesn't net that much difference in top speed (less than 3-4mph I would bet)

Of course, sa we all know, some cars get engines that are tighter toleranced than others netting more hp. Not only that, the LS1 V-8 is well known for being underrated at the factory, my friends WS6 T/A dyno'd at around 290rwhp (~340engine hp) while the factory spec says 325...
the vette engine (C5 LS1) says 345, so I would expect 360 or so would be reasonable.

You probably got very lucky and if your 182 was true DAMN you must have had fun. My friend and I got his t/a up to 160 and that was fast...
(so far I've only done 130...but that was on a bike)

Have you posted over at Corvette Forum? nice numbers man, I have had my C5 up to 182 MPH and no more with Intake and some electronics, when I come back to Germany to Pick up my car (with Dinan Chip in hand hope you dont have to mail in the box) Ill blast it to top speed and see where the stock car gives.
