If you believe BMW can or would increase production, you should see the nice condo I have for sale. They are lying through their teeth about the whole thing. And it's not the first time. Many of the posters are probably too young to remember, but in 1988 they sold an M5 black , saddle interior only. No choice, limited production. People even paid over MSRP because of it. Then they tried to get around it and produced more cars. A class action suit was brought and won by the original owners and they received a check for $2,500. toward the purchase of a new car. Then they had another "exclusive" model, the 850. They jerked everybody around with that one too. Guess what? Where's the car now? Right now they're selling the 330 coupe and cabriolet like hot cakes, why jeopardize those sales? That's my .04.
