The M3 was delayed a few months ago due to a part being manufactured out of tolerance by an outside supplier. This variance caused the #3 connecting rod to let go in some test cars. This was resolved about 45 days ago and there have already been cars delivered in Europe.

The US M3 starts regular production in March with delaers receiving a LS Blue car out of February production.
