I put down a deposit 5 months ago for the new M3. My insurance agent told me that premium would be $2600 for the 2001 M5 (since there was no M3's price avalible when I asked the agent)which cover my father and I, since I hadn't had an accident in the past. Now, My insurance agent refused to insure my A4. I was told that our claim is too big already that's why the insurance agent refuse us. But, I have seen people still driving their sport cars after big big accidents. Why? is there any insurance broker or agent know what to do? or some company will insure people like us?
can anyone suggest me any insurance company or broker?
I just don't know how the quebec insurance companies work? Can people tell me how it works?
people who have experience, can you tell me what to do? and does that mean the premium for me will have a big jump or they won't insure me at all?
I want to hear peoples' experenices and opinions.
Thanks for those who share their experenice and opinions.
Insurance works the same as in U.S. What you're facing in Quebec is no different under an umbrella policy that covers the entire family. Multiple claims against the insurance company will no doubt raise a red flag. However, why don't you try to get your own insurance independently and see if that works out better. Count on having to pay premium even if you can find an insurance company to accept you. Especially so with the M3 and your age.
