If you can get an M5 for as cheap as you say with low mileage...go for it! Though we are all justifiably excited about the new M3, there are some good reasons to wait til the next model year or even later (see a few posts back). I also think a 4-door M car is the ultimate in sports sedan motoring, combining the most practicality and stealth with outrageous performance. Only if you plan to do a lot of track driving (where the nimbler M3 will outshine the M5) will you lose much.

But you really can't go wrong here between these two awesome machines, so go with your heart, whatever you really get the most excited about, and don't look back.
