We've been over some of the options for heating up the S54 engine further. I believe this was the summary:

o Can't bore the cylinders - not enough room.
o Intake and exhaust already pretty good.
o Chip gains likely to be minimal - mostly remove rev and speed limits.

o Stroke can be increased for greater displacement.
o More radical cam can gain top end hp at expense of low end torque.
o In conjunction with cam and other mods, rev limit can be pushed higher.
o Small low-pressure supercharger is possible.

The usual K&N air filter, chip, and cat-back exhaust are not going to give you a lot on this car. Yes, they'll give you something, but if you really want significant thrust increases you are looking at some of the above choices.
