There's this ever so small chance that what is going on in the various race series such as ALMS does not translate into anything very interesting on the street due to some obscure race rules which are intended to keep the racing field "balanced".

A v8 M3 would be great, but I'll be quite happy with my i6, completely independent of who runs what lap times with various modified versions of the M3 and the 996 wearing various sizes of restrictor plates which are not used on the street cars.
