The M3 has pulled a few 4.7s and BMW always adds a few tenths to it's numbers, just look at the 330ci's, 330xi's, etc. The M3 is faster in 0-60, but the M5 has way more torque, accelerating anywhere past 60, the M5 should pull away slightly.



Both are rated for 0-60 in 4.8seconds. Just curious.

The M5 is down to the damn low 13's in the ¼ (although not
it's intended purpose).

Slap on some slicks and you're in the mid 12's...leather and all. :)

I thought there was a BMW Rumor that the M3 was going to be the fastest M car ever made.?
