No, M3 0 to 100 is 5 sec, C32 0 to 100 4.8 sec, same driver, same conditions.

Wow. So the C32 goes 0-100km/h in 4.6s? That's pretty good.

Or are you comparing to BMW's ridiculously conservative initial estimates of 5.2s for the M3?

It’s official: according to preliminary tests in Germany, C32 beats M3 in 0 to 100, 0 to 150 and 0 to 200, by 0.2 sec, 0.3 sec and 0.3 sec respectively.
