The other thing that I will get flamed for is, well if you could I could really use the car soon if I was to get it before summer or in a resonable amount of time it would be great. Essentially, I am saying I would like to have your spot. I have valid reasons, which I don't want to make public, but its not the usual "I am selfish and want my car now, screw everyone else attitude". Just think about and tell me what you think, and email me if you could plz.
Already have a 98M. Going to wait a year or two longer for more color choices and SMG before getting E46. So now I have a dilemma. Should I..
1) Just give up my spot.
2) Sell my spot. (seems cheeseballish)
3) Order the car, drive it home, then sell the car itself at a very reasonable markup.
I WAS smart enough to get myself on the list early last year. I guess time will tell if, at #8 (which at my dealer will put me 8 months out after SOP) the car will still be worth over MSRP.
And don't flame me for wanting to take a profit. Believe me, there are plenty of very wealthy people here in Dallas who don't care what shit costs. What would you do?
