My dealer attempted to submit my order 2 weeks ago with LeMans blue as the exterior color. As soon as he faxed the order to BMWNA, they called him immediately and informed him that custom colors will NOT be accepted UNTIL 90 days after production first begins, which should be around May. Now the question is *which* custom colors will become available. As far as Topaz is concerned, I dont see this being a problem, but for me, LeMans blue is a M5 exclusive color, and therefore a long shot. In short, I've decided not to wait, so I'm going with Carbon Black. I really dont think anyone at this point has ordered Topaz, but I would love to be proved wrong because I would definititely consider Topaz since I still have plenty of time to change my order. Hope it helps..
