I get the feeling that with the exception of a handful of impatient people who have money to burn (mostly on the West Coast), most people feel that the current MSRP on the car is getting close to the high end of a reasonable value. SMG II at $5000 or $6000 will represent more than 10% of the cost of the car, and that's a *ton* for one feature, no matter how cool it is.

The more I read about SMG the more excited I get. But, at 5k plus, an extra 10% or more of the cost of the WHOLE CAR? No chance would I buy it, however marvelous technically it is. I'll stick with what I'm sure will be an excellent 6-speed manual...
