I also tried some online quotes and they were also around the £1700-£2000 mark. Do you also have an accident on record with 6 points for speeding by any chance? Our figures sound very similar.

Hope you can survive the wait until Thursday. I went into my dealer yesterday (Sat) morning to sign all the papers for mine (build on 16/4, delivery on 14/5 hopefully). Before we did that he ushered me into a hidden corner of their upstairs garage and showed me the very first customer car waiting 'til the 15th. Titan Silver with black leather. Very nice. Mmmmm ...
