Went to the local dealership here in Houston where I'm awaiting my May delivery CB M3. They had just taken delivery of the LSB demo. I went in just to look at it (and hopefully listen to it) since I was told a while back that no one would be able to drive it, however, to my surprise, the keys were offered to me as soon as I got there. Of course I accepted without hesitation. I'm too tired to go into any detail regarding the driving experience, however, I will say that I managed to hit 120 on the Pierce Elevated in a very short amount of time. Just in time to fly by a couple of cop cars parked in the UH Central campus parking lot. Fortunately for me, they were busy with someone else. A couple of minor comments before I wrap this up. The steering feel is very tight. The handling is incredible. Of course, I'm used to a FWD Audi TT, so I wouldn't expect anything less. The steering wheel itself has incredible grip. Thicker than the steering wheel on my TT. Surprisingly the car handled the downtown Houston streets better than my TT, which was surprising considering the fat 18s. The exhaust note screams of power. Nothing I've ever heard before. I'll probably never use the HK system I ordered. It doesn't take long at all to hit the 8000 rpm mark at all. A couple of negative comments I have is the driving position seems to be a little too high. And, the interior overall is a little disappointing. It's something I can live with, though. Regarding the color.......well, I think we've discussed the color enough. Suffice to say it's not something I would order. Oh well, to each his own.
