What, just because it has a small number in it's name, it's less of a car?? Let's, the 3 has a unibody, so does the Porsche.. Both cars also have a the "cheap" Mac Strut front suspension.

So what makes a car worth the $$$? Is it speed?
I've seen modded Chevettes do 1/4 in the 11's. Is it handling? I'd bet there are Neons running around SCCA circuits that pull more g's than any stock Porsche, Ferrari or BMW.

So again, just cause your Porsche costs more, what about it's plastic and metal is different than "just a 3"? Sure, with 400 or more horses and AWD, it can move. But I think the M3's engine alone has more technology than anything on your blown boxer 6. The M3 is about sophisticated comfort. A machine designed to be a luxury car when you commute, but be able to lay the smack down when you need it to. It can handle tracks, drag strips as well as some exotics that cost double (or more). It also looks fluid and graceful, yet powerful. There is NOTHING that looks so rich and well thought out that can be found for anything near the price. Park it next to the VW S4 and you will see the difference. Quit slamming something that you fear and don't understand.
