Hello. I am an E28 owner and I am thinking about buying a 1971 3.0CS. I have taken some pics of the car in questions and posted them on a web site. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look and let me know what you think. also, where are the usual rust places i should check and other things i need to look into.

I might be able to get the car for around $5700US to $6800US. I'd like to know what you think! :)

thanks a lot

If you buy that car, you have $5000+ in rust repairs on your hands. You will find there is nothing to weld patch panels, and will have to literally reconstruct the forward "A" section from scratch.

Been there, done that! Not Good!!

Find a good minimum rust car from the Western US if you want a coupe, or a car that someone already reconstructed, but ONLY if they have photos showing proper repairs.
