I am in the process of purchasing an E9. I am located in MA so the car will be garaged during the winter months. I want to have adequate insurance so that the coverage covers the actual value of the car.

Looking for suggestions for carriers and types of coverage. I really don't expect to put more than 2.5-5K miles on the car per year. The car has been modified which seems to be sticking point with some carriers especially in MA. Do I really have to divulge that the car is "modified"?

I do have one quote, but it restricts the car's use through an additional endorsement to exhibits and driving that does not include going to and from work or school or for use on "errands". I can't even use it to drive to work on weekends...

For some reason, most carriers cannot insure it in the People's Republic of Massachusetts...

Your suggestions would be appreciated.
