Then yes I see where you are coming from. But heck if you factor in labor to the restoration costs of any decent job on any car resale is poor.

My best friend has spent years restoring a rusted out GTO ragtop. It is stunning to look at now. But even he admits he'd never be able to recoup all costs out of it if even you include his labor time at 10 bucks an hour.

Those Alfas did look good, didn't they.
