Having worked my way through numerous six series and three M-6s over the past fifteen years I am now enamored with the elegance and overall design of the CS coupes. However, I do require exhilarating high performance from the cars I own.What performance mods. (3.5 upgrade, five speeds, suspension etc..) do you knowledgeable owners have experience with and what can be the expected outcome and driving experience...

do what I did and buy one of each..they are completely different vehicles, each with its' own type of road handling and acceleration. if you can't do both I would opt for the CS, with minor modifications (weber, camshaft and some suspension improvements). just beware of rust !!!! good luck
