Binding door glass. (archive)

Like most CS electric windows, mine are s-l-o-w.

When the doors were off my coupe for refinish of the car, I decided to address the problem.

With the motors/regulator mechanisms removed from the doors, it's obvious that the glass binds about half way down on both sides, but I cannot see an obvious way to free it up beyong lubing the bearings and slides.

Anyone else addressed the problem successfully?
