there is this guy Carl Nelson in San Diego (La Jolla) that knows a lot about this type of car - contact info at www.justbmws.com.

to be honest, i've been searching some german classifieds, dreaming about a euro e28 m5.

while you're over there, could you say hello to the m5's for me? also, please post pics of this CSL so that we can all see it!

I have found that Europeans USE their "classics" harder than Americans, so after 25 years most European cars are used up and rusted out. There ARE exceptions, and I suppose one could find some nice cars, and I am unsure whether the prices would be cheaper than here or not.

Remember, a lot of US West Coast European cars are re-imported from the US to Europe every year. If finding one there were easy, why would they bother?
