I am desperately looking for my car, a 1974 3.0CS, Malaga, four-speed, Lic# 138MDY, this is a very nice low mileage car. I gave the car to Mikhail at Alpine MotorSport in San Diego to install shocks, sway bars, and springs five months ago. He took it to a paint shop to get an estimate for me, but as it turns out he owes the paint shop money and they will not release my car to him and unfortunately all I know is that the shop is somewhere in L.A. and for three months now he will not get it back for me or tell me where it is. I am finding that Alpine Motorsport is a phantom business and that this Mikhail character is a flake and liar of unbelieveable porportion.
The reason I trusted this guy was that a friend had used him and he seemed very knowledgable about the cars. Does anyone have any info on this guy? Does Alpine Motorsport have an address? Does he? All I have are the two numbers from the website which are just voicemail. Is anyone familiar with a paint shop he may have worked with (may be in Whittier)?
Anyone have any ideas?
Goes without saying, if you deal with this guy, do so at your own risk. I know that I'm not the only guy who'd like to get a hold of this guy.

Thanks,

Tim
