Hi bayley,

it's a good question! I do not want to lie : The car was very expensive. The price is for me the price of a true passion. I cannot consider to own such a car if it is not perfect and if it does not stick 100% to the original... As you know it is today nearby impossible to find such a car in good condition. You MUST consider a full restoration and the only correct possible way to do this, is to restore the car with genuine BMW (CSL) parts... you maybe know how difficult (expensive) it is to find original thin gauge CSL fenders ? to find original CSL aerodynamic addenda, aluminium panels etc... it only works with a lot of time, luck and money! All the replica parts will for ever remain replicas
for me (sorry guys...)... and you certainly know that a professional restoration has never been cheap ... but a (real) passion has no price !!!
I just wanted to buy a "new" Batmobile in 1999 and I did it ...
