Shimming the motor mount and spring system attach points with washers is what I did. I also found that no matter how much I shimmed, tightening things down too tight still gave a problem, so I just torqued enough to keep things where they should be and that helped. It was as if the whole mechanism prefers to float some (due to becoming old and misaligned) rather than be totally rigid (weird). If you take the whole motor spring mechanism out and move the window by itself (its heavy) you can understand where resistance may be. Keep the tracks lubed too. The motor actually works hardest to bring the window down and uses the spring to assist in raising the window. I have had my driver side fwd all out and am still not pleased with the operation though. I cleaned up the motor inside which seemed to help some. thats what I know (and don't know).
