I will try to remember to take my digital camera with me to Houston (from Austin) this Friday and take pictures of my car (in storage) for you. From memory, The OEM replacement parts decal goes in a 'notch' in the center hood insulation. Looks like you have non factory insulation without the notch so that one is going to be tough. The fuse panel decal goes on the inside of the access door. I believe the tire pressure decal goes on the drivers side fender inside the cowl/air box area. Maybe the color decal goes just ahead of the strut mount. Like I said, I will confirm all this weekend.

I just received my set of underhood decals for my 3.0CS project from LaJolla and it would be helpful to have the exact OEM installed locations for reinstallation.

I have the Battery charge warning, the Oil Service, the Air Conditioning, and the Color decals properly installed.

I need the OEM locations for the:
1)ATE Brake decal (blue one)
2)Anti Freeze decal
3)Tire Pressure Decal
4)BMW Replacement Parts Decal (large ornange one)
5)Fuse Box decal
6)Manufactured in Compliance with US DOT Laws decal

Also, I removed the pop-riveted on VIN plate from the right side cowl when I removed the asphalt pad. I installed a new pad thinking the holes would be obvious from inside, but they are not! Does this plate mount on the flat surface or on the forward slope part of the cowl pad near the bulkhead just behind the strut mount?

Text or digital pictures gratefully accepted!

Thanks a lot,
Bob
