Where are you located? I am interested in one for restoration and possibly an engine upgrade. Is your engine original and do the vin #s match engine numbers etc? What about the body? any rust? What price range are you thinking about...as you alluded to, the restoration process is very expensive and one can never get out of the cars what one puts into it...so...i'm not sure i'm willing to pay a fortune for one that needs a lot of work.

please call if you'd...you can page me at 801 241-4764 and put in a return number and i'll call right back.

thanks

In rgards to getting a CSL. I happen to own one that I am seriously considering selling. Its a'72,Inca orange,Recaro buckets, black interior. The car is set up for the track-as attested to by three different troopers and one who even measured the height from ground to floor pan. Its never been hit. Aluminum doors, hood, trunk. Plexi-glass rear side windows and also back glass. There is no carpeting to speak of. Now the reason why I am thinking about selling is basically lack of cash. I don't have the cash it takes to do a proper overhaul and still let my wife not kill me in my sleep. I also know that the car is worth alot to those who are willing to do whats right. I maybe crazy but if anyone wants to offer some advice or ideas about selling, I'm listening. By the way killing wife is not an option. The previous owner beat on his wife who finked him out to the feds who gave him who gave 20 years plus and sold off his auto collection. Porsche Speedster, 1935 FORD, bmw 318, just to mention a few.
