Those caps are still available at most bmw dealers, they are also used in early 6 series models up to '82 the part # for the caps are 51-41-1-815-255 left side /256 for the right side.

amazing! I'll stop by the dealer and see if they ahve the part, if not I'll try the hobby shops. Thanks!
