Apparently Pebra keys from other cars will sometimes work, too (unfortunate but empirically verified).



I have a 71 2800cs,not sure if all have the funny drilled out key,but I lost the only copy.Does anyone know where I can get one rekeyed at?The local BMW dealers say they don't do anything for the old cars anymore because the don't have the microfiche.
