The Tee handle just ubscrews. But, you have to be carefull since it is screwed in a very tiny screw that is is also like a T and acts as the stop. But, mine very easily came off. You can not raplace handles with new ones since they are of a complete different design. I had to do a lot of modificatios to the handle itself to even work with a later shifter.
I too like the looks without the bumpers, only if I could be sure that no ones bumps into me in parkings!
