Down pipes from the manifolds are the same. The center resonator is the same til the rearmost pipe after the resonator to the rear muffler can. This piece must be fabricated to make a new BAV resonator work on a coupe. Do it all the time.

So physically the 2 pipes from the manifolds are same on E3/E9 (it's possible there is different numbers on CD BMW parts...)
