Thanks to both of your input. I am not sure if it a paint imperfection or it is rust. The reason I mentioned that it appears at the non-structural area was because the car was throughly inspected by Bimmerwerks (Bloomfield, Denver vincinity, CO) for rust and mechanical integrity before my purchase. The report was very, very good, minus a couple of paint flaw and what appear to be a rust bubble a few inches aft of the mirror on the passenger door. What is your recommendation Carlin? I may be paranoid about rust after several months of reading this forum prior to my plunge. My hat off to both of you and many more of the regulars for the love and comittment for the coupe. I know that I am on my way to become one of you. It has only been 2 weeks, but the love is germinating already (Is abandon your family is part of this ritual?)
