There is a 2800cs for sale near my house. I don't know the year but it's a great looking car. low miles, rough seats and a little rust. is it worth $2000?

Keep looking for a 3.0cs ,it's worth it for the 4 wheel disc brakes and larger displacement engine, i bought a 72 3.0cs in pretty good shape for 2600 dollars a couple of years ago. Great deals are around if you look. When it comes to resale value the 3.0 will always be more desirable than the 2800.

If you find a 2800cs with out rust, it is much better than a 3.0cs with rust. Upgrading to disc brakes would be much cheaper than fixing rust. So, dont get too caught up in the number on the back of the trunk, find one that has the least amount of rust.
