Experience has taught me that two very common causes of a dying battery in a CS are...
1.The light in the glovebox staying on. Check the switch or disconnect the light
2.The trunk light ditto. Check the switch at the trunk hinge to see if the light is going off.

Small but constant power drains and just enough to kill a battery in a few days.

This car/problem in question is indeed something with the charging system--turning on the lights makes the car run poorly--and it will need analysis by an electrical shop.
