This is one of those "ya kinda had to be there" stories, but its still somewhat funny. I was replacing the 9v battery in my step-fathers house smoke detector while he was standing next to me. I told him you can check these batteries by touching them to your tongue. (Okay, I'm laughing again) I figured he might just quickly try it to see if its true, but instead he pushes it really hard onto his tongue! I've never seen a grown man jump and spit like that in my life. A memory for a lifetime. He thought it was funny too. 8-)
