antena questions? (archive)

I took apart the antena just now and found that the plastic belt inside that connects the actual antena to the motor is ripped in half (which exlains why my antena only comes up half the way). Where do you get parts for it? I guess all I need to find is that belt. Also, how do you detach the belt from the tip of the antena (I can get it out of the motor part, but the tip isn't coming out).

Failing that, I wonder if the antena assembly is avaliable somewhere.
