Owning a car that is related to a significant person in history and hoping that a bigger idiot will one day pay $100,000 to buy it.

Another reason would be as a publicity draw for a car museum. Look at what Hitler's Mercedes or Gary Cooper's MB sold for. Jackie "O" is not of this calibre, but close.

Who Cares.
It is still an old Bav that isn't in the greatest shape. Come on. Anyone who would pay that kind of money for a bav is out of their mind, I don't care who it belonged to. Don't get me wrong, Bavs are sweet cars, not nearly as sweet as coupes, but I mean what would be the point of owning that Bav.
