I had it installed by someone else. I gave specific requests and discussed solutions with the installer himself, not through the salesman. Any small, thin speaker will work in the kick panel. A good shop should have a few choices. Mine was installed by a shop in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Another hint. Make sure you understand what you are buying. Car stereo shops are notorious for pushing consumers to make quick decisions, and will try to sell mega systems to people who do not need every car on the road to know what they are listening to. Get up front the price and grade of wire and connections. They sometimes "forget" to include the real cost of this in the estimate. Good wire and connections can really help sound quality. Get an estimate, GO HOME, and think about it away from the sales people. By the way installation is not that difficult, except for the fabrication of the kick panels. I just did not have the time.
Sean.
Dear Sean:
Thanks for the advice how to install the stereo. Did you do it yourself or had you someone install it?
Any recommendations what speakers work well in the kick panels?

Where do you buy your parts?

Volkmar
