Your CSi has a D-Jetronic fuel injection which is very unique to that car, and one the first injection systems that Bosch made. L-Jetronic was used on the US delivery 3.0Si and early 5 & 6 series cars. I have a CSi, and I haven't had major problems with it yet. You have to have someone who knows that system to tune it right though, becuse it has a lot of variables that have to work correctly. If I were you I would keep and fix the injection if needed, and would not change it to carburetors. CSi is a more desirable car.
The color combo is correct, and is to my opinion one of the best combinations.
