Hello Randy, I could use the pre-silencer. please call me at 818-723-1678. I restored my 1972 csi in late 1999/early 2000 and i purchased new the whole exhaust system from the dealer,then i decided to go with exhaust headers, so the pre-silencer never made it on to the vehicle it's brand new it's only been treated with black hi-temp anti corrosion paint, it's wrapped in plastic sitting in my garage and i hope someone can use it, bmw part # 18-12-1-107-884, i purchased it on 11/16/99 for two hundred dollars at bmw so make me an offer, remember it's never been used.......Randy '72 csi
