Cheap crappy globes & cheap crappy fuses (invariably made in Taiwan) cause more trouble than they are worth. At the first sign of trouble, replace both bulb & fuse with decent quality items. I battled for hours on my 635 to find why the left headlight wouldn't work - tested circuits, earths, swapped globes, etc. Lesson - replace (apparently good) fuse, problem solved.I've also had such crappy fuses on my E9 that although the fuse wire stayed intact under the current, the plastic fuse body distorted and the thing failed. Talk about crappy products!
cheers,
Graeme
