I recently replaced the electric motor between the gas tank and injector pump. I immediately began blowing the #6 fuse. After about three of four fuses, I lost all of my dash lights. I was told by a mechanic buddy that this is BMW way of notifying the driver that they may have lost the tail lights or break lights (or both). I checked those out, they work but still no dash lights. Is there a simple answer? Is there another fuse between the fuse-box and the dash lights? How many dash light bulbs are there and do I have to dawn my surgical gloves and perform a "pull-the-dash-out-of-me" to fix the prob. Thanks in advance to those who answer. By the way, driving without dash lights is kinda sureal, but I am not sick of it.
