If the "stock jockeys" spent their money buying "classic" cars, the price of these cars would be much more than they are. I think they spent most of their money on new cars.

It sounds as if you think I am being too demanding.

Actually, I figured that with the economic downturn, there must be a lot of cars that failed stock jockeys are now needing to dump on the market at a reasonable price.

Just how much do YOU think a car like I am describing should cost today?

How close to a fresh restoration with new mechanicals, body and paint can I come for $10,000?
