New cold air intake and other projects (archive)

The replacement cold air intake tube on my '72 CSi. I really disliked that paper tube that is OEM, and courtesy of the folks on the firstfives web site, I found this one from a 83-84 635CSi which fits quite well, is much more easily removed for maintenance, and looks better too in my opinion. I also installed a new battery, and replaced my single throttle return spring with an upgraded two spring unit from a 1976 530i.
