i need to renew the sleeves covering the shock absorber in the front strut, but the new sleeves I have received are much shorter than those already on there. my supplier in Germany claims that the ones i have got are correct. unloaded suspension, there is about 250mm of the shocks shaft that is to protected, but the ones i have got are only ca 180mm long, when fully streched. the ones sitting on are fixed to the top and bottom, but the new ones are to be fixed only at the top, and a portion of the shock shaft will be exposed. is this correct?
does anyone have drwaings of the special tools for removing/instaling rubber bush in front axle carrier?
