What you have are bilsteins in the front of your car if they are sealed on the top and bottom. You can tell because they will look like an accordian and also should be blue. If these are the ones then you will need to contact Bilstein to get replacements as BMW no longer sells them. The ones you recieved are for the Boge shocks that came in the car. They should have a foam bump stop as well, but if I remember correctly, the foam bump stop for the Boges will not go over the Bilstein piston.
