While everything Paul says is true, unfortunately, the '74 belts aren't exactly a bolt-in for the earlier cars.
You will need to modify the top of the rear upholstered armrest pieces (or get the '74 pieces) to clear the belt retractor/mount.
Years ago, I put belts from a Nissan/Datsun 200SX in my 2000CS, which had only aftermarket lap belts. While the Nissan belts have kind of crummy belt material, they fit much better than the original belts in my '72 coupes, because they have a metal spacer bar which puts the shoulder belt pivot point down 5 or 6 inches so the belt fits across your shoulder instead of your neck.
While I wouldn't recommend this particular application, the design is nice.
I've thought about trying late 2002 inertial reel belts, but haven't gotten to it yet. Bill
